events and private events by arrangement.

Denver Golf Club holds regular events during the year. Below is some general information - details will be included here for coming events once arrangements have been confirmed. We hold events to help raise funds for national and local charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support and the Winifred Tuohy Memorial fund - £870.00, which is a charity based in King's Lynn, Norfolk, UK. Below is some information about our range of Denver Golf Club Junior birthday parties.
| Denver Golf Club Junior Birthday Parties - by arrangement At Denver Golf Club we'll arrange a Junior birthday party with you. Of course, there will plenty of golfing fun, skill and tuition for the juniors. There are three set options for you to choose from and a fourth option where we will work together with you to arrange just what you want. The prices quoted are for up to 20 persons of 7 years of age upwards. In the event of poor weather being forecast, please contact us in good time to check which facilities are available on the day and to discuss any necessary alterations to the arrangements. Option 1 Costing £12 per person and approximately 2½ hours' duration: Arrive in the morning or the afternoon - to suit you (e.g. 9.30 am - 12.00 noon)
Option 2 Costing £14 per person and approximately 3 hours' duration:

"Hawthorn Open" Competition - 2008
This is a knock-out competition to be played during 2008 for a new trophy. All players will be playing from scratch (i.e. no handicap) in matchplay format. The first round matches will need to be played by 20th January 2008, so please register your name and contact details with us at Reception before 5th January 2008.
It is planned that the second round matches should be completed by 3rd February 2008, so that there will be two weeks available in which to play each round. As the competition is a knock-out, we will not know when the final round will be, as that is dependent on the number of competitors who start.
Registration closed on 5th January 2008 and the competition is under way.

There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams and Nearest the Pins prizes.
Cost for the day: Members - £2.50 per person; Non Members - £10.00 per person.

HSBC Wee Wonders Qualifying Day
Friday 30th May 2008
The
HSBC Wee Wonders Championships is a junior golf tournament that gives boys and
girls aged five to twelve a way to progress from coaching competitions into
competitive golf.
Playing on Par 3 Golf courses, in ‘flag format’, your child will get the
chance to see how they score against others their age. He or she will have 36
shots to get as far around the course as possible. Where the ball stops, they
plant their flag. If they get further than others their age, they’ve won!
